The black bird has taken flight...

Well, I was meant to type this yesterday but I was fangirling over FFType -0's release date and sketching characters (obviously). 

Well, I don't know what to say um... The only Shoujo Manga I like just finished? Um...

I feel so melodramatic right now XDD 

I mean, the ONLY SHOUJO MANGA I anticipated and got excited for and I just read the last chapter yesterday, just...  

I mean, you start with Misao, and I just hate how she's another one if those fragile and helpless characters, but then there's Kyo and Shou and Ryo, Houki and soooo much and it's just an awesome adventure. I really loved it when Shou ended up being a villain, pretty much five chapters after his introduction but they still keep his place reserved for him in their ring of eight, it's like...

The only comparison I can make would be a Shoujo version of Lord of the Rings? Like when Boromir dies and the Fellowship just doesn't feel the same without him. Except this time he turns evil, and is revived, after he dies. Then he dies again so... Yeah. Um...

There was also Kyo having to kill his best friend's little brother and that was gut wrenching in its own way... I mean WHOAAAAAA 

You can't go wrong with demons, can you?

But everything builds up and then when Misao gets pregnant it's just... Whoa. I mean, we've lived though all those deaths and characters which posed a threat, etcetera (KYO WAS ABOUT TO BE EXORCISED!! Almost TWICE! SHOU TRIED TO KILL HIS BROTHER TWICE, ALSO! THEIR DAD LOST HIS ARM DUE TO HIS OLDER SON! JUST ARGHHHH!!! ) but nothing was as plot changing as the fact if Misao gives birth she'll die. 

... Got me there pretty bad.

Happy ending spoiler: despite everyone wanting to prevent Misao giving birth, what with spending chapters 60 to 71 or more looking for a way to save her, chapter 71 ends with her water breaking. I thought 'hey, no worries she'll be fine.'

Imagine my shock when I find that she died the day she gave birth. I mean, it starts with a 6 year old Sou, their son, playing hide and seek "because father loves mother more than [him]." And Tarou and his brothers are looking for him, it was soooo cute XDDD then I find out Sagami (Ryo) cut his hair, he still looks as hot as ever (but he's taken... aha me, look after him). Houki, Ryo and the triplets are the only ones directly under Kyo. "The fellowship has broken," as you could say.  It's always sad seeing characters you've grown attached to say goodbye, and just as they tell you Misao's alive (finally grew to like her) and everyone's fine, and together to celebrate Sou's 6th birthday. 

Can I cry now? That wasn't a question...
